An Old-Fashioned Pentecostal Church
Welcome to our website! Cornerstone Pentecostal Church is an Old-Fashioned, Hand-Clapping, Holiness-Believing, Truth-Preaching Pentecostal Church. We are Apostolic in doctrine; teaching and preaching the same message that the Apostles preached before the time of man-made creeds and dogmas (see the book of Acts in your Bible). We have very lively, biblically-based worship, powerful Bible-centered preaching and teaching, and a caring church family. When you come, you will see that we are a people who fully believe what we preach.
We are located at 3547 Main Street (downtown!) in Oakley, California. Please visit our fantastic Children's Church program at 9:30 AM Sunday mornings and our Family Worship/Evangelistic Services at 10:30 AM Sunday mornings and 6:00 PM Sunday evenings. Thursday Bible Study begins at 7:30 PM. Friday night Youth A.L.I.V.E. is at 7:30 PM - call for locations, as the Youth group activities and services vary.
If you are considering relocating to our area, we would love to have you be our guest for Sunday Services, Bible Study and any special events. We'd love for you to make Cornerstone Pentecostal Church your church home!
We're glad that you are visiting our website---but don't stop there! Please come and visit us soon for church; you'll be glad that you did!

A note about our church services in the midst of the County's Order and the Governor's Order relative to the Coronavirus pandemic and the public health response:
Cornerstone Pentecostal Church began holding our regular service schedule as of Thursday, October 1st. Prior to this, we were holding services through the Zoom Meeting App on an invitation basis (invitation for security reasons). We are meeting with restrictions in place due to the continuing and changing COVID-19 situation, and are still using the Zoom app for those who cannot attend a service.
Please Note: If you or any members of your family that you must care for are sick with ANY of the symptoms of COVID-19 (or any other contagious illness), we ask you to please stay home and not to attend service at the church. Also, if you are immunodeficient or have respiratory issues, you may wish to stay home and catch our services through means of the Zoom Meeting App. If you are in this latter category and did wish to attend, you should check with your physician first and possibly wear an N-95 mask for your personal protection if your physician feels comfortable with that.
We are looking forward to continuing in-person services, with social distancing and sanitation measures in place. When you come to the door, please wear a mask if you are able and not exempt under the County order, and please take a moment to review the posted information regarding social distancing, hand-washing, etc. We appreciate, in advance, your cooperation.
When you come - come ready to have a great time in the presence of the Lord!
The Doctrine, that is, the teaching of a church or of a man is important. Our doctrine must align with the Bible; it must align with what the Apostles taught in the first century. Paul warned the churches of the region known as Galatia, "though we, or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8). There is only one Gospel, and it is the one that Peter and Paul taught as recorded in their preaching in the book of the Bible known as the Acts of the Apostles. We believe that our doctrine must align with the doctrine of the Apostles. Paul wrote to the saints and ministers at the churches in Rome that they were made free from sin when they "obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered [to them]" (Romans 6:17-18). Having said that, we encourage visitors to our website to listen to the following two messages regarding the Apostles' doctrine. After you have listened, we invite you to both come attend our church and to contact us - we welcome the opportunity to teach you the doctrine of the Apostles. If you do not live local to us, we can help you to find a church that preaches the Apostles' doctrine in your area. May the Lord bless you as you listen:
